Okay so!
I ended up uninstalling my game completely, and then reinstalling. Once I started it up again, everything was running smoothly. I quit the game, added my Mods back in and started it back up and back to a frozen cursor.
So I downloaded a different mod conflict detector and deleted anything in the folder that showed as a conflict.
I restarted my game and again, frozen cursor. So it seems that my mods are the issue BUT I took out the few broken/conflicting ones that were there.
I’m not willing to play without mods sooo it seems hopeless.
I know this is an old issue but I also have this problem. The game loads and the cursor freezes. It does eventually fix itself but then during the game it does it again, and I have to wait for the cursor to unfreeze which gets really annoying.
I deleted the cache file/folders, and I do not have ANY mods (I don't play with mods, the headaches I've gotten from them in the past isn't worth it to me anymore tbh). I also repaired the game. I am hoping this will fix it 🙂 Just wanted to let you know that someone who doesn't have mods is also having this issue.

More than a year later and I'm still having this issue. Does anyone have any answers?
