Custom music isn't working TS4

I've added custom music to my game. For a long time, it was working and the songs would play on my sim's radio and also in game options. But for the past few weeks, it hasn't been working and I can't figure out why because I didn't change anything, it just abruptly stopped working and I don't have any mods in my game except for gallery poses and more cas columns. I've tried re-downloading the game and also deleting the custom music files, then putting them back in, but it didn't work. And it isn't just one radio station; I had custom songs in both the S-pop and the Hip Hop stations and none of the songs work. I mean, they show up in the game, but when I click the play button to listen to the song, it doesn't play. But the in-game songs work... I don't know what to do; I really liked having my favorite music in my game for my sims to listen to, but now I can't. Can someone please help me??
