Delete Inventory option?

I'd like to delete my family's inventory:  They have accumulated too much useless stuff throughout moves and deaths.  Can you please show me how to delete all of it?  and also a quicker way to clean through my individual sim's inventory besides selecting stacks and toggling the number up to max on each stack.  Thank you!  I love the game!

    The family inventory can be deleted by selecting each item and then click sell (you have to do each individually unfortunately.

    The personal inventory should be deletable by selecting the whole stack and then drag it to the sell field.

    Thank you for your answer, and I am using the drag to delete for the individual sim's inventory now.  I'm wondering if you could pass it forward about the family inventory full delete option?  I'd love to have that available perhaps through a patch or update.

    I saw actually looking for the solution myself and didn’t think to look online right away, but I found that I could delete the items in my family inventory pretty fast if I held the delete button and clicked the objects. I don’t know if that’s just me or not though.

    If you have a lot of inventory and you're having trouble with lag deleting it - try using the filters available in the inventory mode. You can sort by object type and/or with the filter by pack type, custom content, etc. It will only display those items matching the sort or filter, and you will have less lag, depending on the amount displayed according to your criteria.I accidentally kept a family's inventory when I moved them and had this problem.

    Thank you so much! I also had a family inventory, and it helped me first go into categories and just click+delete. As I had still a lot of decoration items, I filtered it into colors and yes, the lag is significantly less. Thanks again 🙂
