Deleted All Sims 4 Files
My sims 4 would not open and in trying to fix it i deleted all of its files (i know its dumb in hindsight) and it wont come back when i reinstall it through steam and EA wont let me do anything through there (i also still cant open the app) and ive tried to restore it to previous versions but it is not working, i also cannot do anything through origin because it forces me to go to EA and EA doesnt have the stuff to fix it. is there anything i can do? i bought some packs and would like to not lose them. thank you so much.
@jqrgpcsaq84o I'm sorry, I have no idea what's going on from the description you've provided. So I'm going to offer a more general suggestion and you can let me know where that gets you.
Specifically, download Revo Uninstaller (the free version is fine) and see whether it finds anything belonging to Sims 4. If it does, delete it unless it's the Sims 4 folder in Documents > Electronic Arts. Leave that folder in place, if it stil exists. Then use Revo to remove the EA App as well, and restart your computer.
Try again to install the EA App and let me know whether it works. If you see an error message, please post a screenshot.
