@amandapanda2526 When you say you made a new Mods folder, did you make it yourself? If so, please delete the folder and let the game generate a new one. And make sure that any mods you use are directly inside the Mods folder, not in a subfolder.
If that doesn't help, please let me know your game version, which you can find in the lower right corner of the Main Menu, where you'd load a save or start a new one. And please download a new version of a mod you like to use, one that's confirmed to be compatible with your game version number.

@amandapanda2526 Right, that doesn't work: the Mods folder also needs the correct resource.cfg file inside, which the game will create if you let it. So please remove the Mods folder you've made, let the game generate a new one, and put your mods into that.

@amandapanda2526 If you remove the Mods folder you created, and you load the game once, a new Mods folder should be created. If that doesn't happen, load the game, open the settings, disable mods and custom content, and quit; then reload, enable mods and cc again, and quit.
