Detective Career Not Working

My Sims 4 game works perfectly fine during regular gameplay, but when I send a sim to work at the detective career, it won't let my sim move or accomplish tasks for the career. My sim just stands at ...

    Try saving the police lot from your working game to the library then replace the one in your faulty game.

    You'll need the cheat bb.enablefreebuild to do that.

How's your detective going? Did crinrict's suggestion help? 🙂  If so, you might want to let everyone know by pressing the 'Accept as solution' button. It might help someone with your same problem in the future!
