Re: SDX drop items not showing
did anyone else not receive the base game update? I have repaired the game, ran the EA app as administrator, checked the sims delivery and still nothing. has anyone resolved this issue?

HayMaShayShay Please open Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 and delete the content folder. Load the game, and if the SDX download doesn't start on its own, open Options > Game Options > Sims Delivery and click the button to check for updates. Either way, give it a few minutes to download, then quit and reload to see whether the content appears.
Keep in mind that the items don't necessarily show as new, so you may have to search for them manually.
