As already mentioned, the game stutters with the "Uncompressed Sim Textures" option enabled, it happens mainly on lots where there are multiple sims.

Hey all,
We're still investigating this issue for a future update. In the meantime, if you've modified your GraphicsRules.sgr file, please revert to the original GraphicsRules.sgr file to ensure the pie menu functions correctly.
Thanks!

The problem remains and it is a bug in the sims 4, I'm 110% on that. Problem been here for mouths if reading this tread and yet it is not fixed by the deavelopers. That is pretty weak..
I use Windows 11 on a costum made game computer, about 2 mounths old so it can handle every game in the market 2024 Dec.
Show desktop is not possible while playing the sims 4 for now (and in a long time). I have tested "Windowsbutton" + "D", also "Alt" + "Tab", and "Windowsbutton" and clicked in the right corner symbol "Show desktop". Nothing is working. It need to get fixed. I can´t play the Sims 4 with the settings "window"... Then the problem is gone, but insane than deavelopers yet haven´t fixed this isue. Your post is now 4 weeks old, how is this investigating going? I don´t want to modify any files, I just want the game to get fixed asap as bugs are mentioned. Thank you.- SimsTime8 months agoSeasoned Ace
I acknowledge that the performance of The Sims 4 on DirectX 11 has improved significantly since its implementation, especially in terms of FPS stability, which used to be simply terrible and much lower than DirectX 9. The performance of DX 11 when the game's camera is zoomed in is also much closer to DX9 now.
However, DirectX 11 still shows lower performance when the game's camera is at a certain level of zoom out, resulting in FPS drops that, in certain scenarios or worlds, can range from 10 to 15 frames. I also notice greater instability and FPS variation when the camera is zoomed out while it's being moved, depending on the world.
Here is an image I made, in DX9, of one of the neighborhoods in Ravenwood (at the house of those two ghost Sims). As you can see, 60FPS, graphics at the highest quality.
Here is another image, in the same place and position, but with the game on DX 11. As you can see, 10 FPS less.
I hope you continue to make improvements so that this performance discrepancy is further reduced.
