Discover University Stuck Gameplay

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:Mac
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.58.63.1210
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? all of them
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? I just press one task and it happens in gameplay on a dorm lot
What happens when the bug occurs? My sims last action gets stuck/froze and every other sim on the lot as well. Time keeps moving and camera angles still work but all sims on dorm lot are stuck/frozen
What do you expect to see? just for gameplay to work
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Never used.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Yes
Please describe the patch or change you made. Discover University EP + latest patch

CAS and build mode are fine but My sim does 1 action in university and gameplay freezes for me and every other sim on the lot. Time keeps moving and can rotate camera but every sim is stuck and I have no choice but to restart game and the same thing happens again! Everything else works fine except this. Have not even been able to play a full day yet.

    thank you! that helped with some other minor issues I was having BUT same issue on dorm lots.

    moved my sim to a lot on campus, game works completely fine. Just tried both gameplays and still on my dorm lot, one action makes everyone get stuck 

    at least I can still play on campus but would love to get to play dorm life

    The exact same thing happend to me after downloading the game.. Tried repair and reinstall, but same problem happens again. It happens in the university world and all the other worlds. It just gets stuck but I can hear the game playing on. 

    I have the game in Norwegian.

    @raggen97 Also on mac or PC ?

    All dorms or only certain ones ?

    I personally didn't have any issues.

    @crinrictyes and all common grounds surrounding the dorm but only if I’m living in dorm. 

    if I live off campus in the new town, gameplay is fine including common grounds.
