Dlc won't work after installed

So i got the EA play edition of the sims 4 that was supposed to come with the go to work dlc, but when i play the game, it either says "you need to restart to complete the installation" or that it is still downloading when the app itself says that is already installed, i tried a bunch of things, repairing the game, leaving the game open, restarting the PC, but nothing works, i even tried contacting EA support but it's been 5 days and no answers.
