Downloading sims 4 onto C drive

Ok guys, I am going to do my best to explain this but please be aware that I am not very tech savvy so please be patient. My game was originally downloading onto onedrive which was annoying because it was constantly giving me notifications that it was full (doesn't make sense) so I deleted onedrive. I am now trying to download the game to my C drive but it's not downloading right. It's defaulting to C drive-program files-ea games-the sims 4 but instead of downloading with the mods, tray folders etc. It's like EP03 or whatever. I have tried creating folders and moving things but my mods are still not working. The game does launch but no mods, yes scripts and mods are enabled in game. Please help!

  • @kcrizzo  You're currently looking at the game's program files, as in, what the EA App installs.  The default location is C:\Program Files\EA Games\The Sims 4.  This has nothing to do with saves or mods, and in fact you should never mess with the folder's contents unless you know exactly what you're doing and why.

The user folder is located in Documents > Electronic Arts by default, but it won't be created until you've launched the game once, or launched it once after deleting the previous folder (or getting rid of OneDrive, as the case may be).  So please launch the game, then look again for that folder.

If you get an error when trying to play, please post a screenshot.
