hello everyone! i can't find anyone with the same issue as me. which is: my c drive was running out of space and i had sims 4 and all my (3000+) mods and saves installed on the said c drive. so i thought hey, i've got like 200gb of storage on my d drive. so i selected everything on my sims 4 folder and clicked 'move to', moving it to the d drive. everything seemed perfect until i started the game. all my saves gone, everything i ever had saved in my gallery gone, mods don't work. i reinstalled the game, clicked 'fix game' two times but … nothing. could anyone guide me on what to do? i really miss playing ☹️

Sims 4 will always look for the user files in the documents folder in c drive. That's why your saves don't work. You have to move the whole documents folder or create a symbolic link for the sims folder.
