EA App deleted entire Electronic arts game folder on new Sims4 reinstall

Was originally running sims 4 on origin, just reinstalled game due to PC rebuild and widows reinstall and windows docs and settings migration on new ssd,  EA app pop up came up after origin install and had to use EA app, after re downloading game using EA app, EA app had completely deleted my entire original game file from my documents folder, my entire Electronic Arts folder that Windows migrated over has been deleted by EA app, 2yrs of builds, family game saves, mods all lost. This is not acceptable - Origin never did this, What gives EA the right to interfere with personal files on my PC and delete what they want especially without any warning or option? the worst thing is onedrive was in the middle of saving 30GB to cloud so have access to partial mods, I want compensation off EA for this data loss, I will now have to reinstall windows as my documents folder was backed up on my USB with migrating over to a new drive.

EA app is a cyber criminal

    @playeranubis7 I now think EA app has hidden game file not deleted as preinstall checked drive space, after install I have 30gb less space available than should be (30gb was the size of EA game file), windows unable to locate even after show hidden files after override. EA app trashed my new install, I'm now going to seek compensation off EA for trashing my personal data, and causing harm to my pc drive - totally unacceptable, this program should not be forced until all bugs resolved

    @playeranubis7

    The EA App does not delete anything. Your explanation of what happened are a bit vague so let us see if I understand you correctly.

    You rebuild your PC for some reason and reinstalled Windows after doing this.

    Please explain what you mean by "docs and settings migration".

    You installed Origin but got the popup that you needed to Install the EA App.

    Once you had installed that you used it to reinstall the Sims 4. Correct?

    You then say that OneDrive got interrupted in syncing the files on there. Probably including your Documents folder with the EA folder.

    What do you mean you have access to partial mods?

    Could you start the game from the EA App? If so the EA folder in documents will have been recreated.

    Please look at what you have on OneDrive. Do you have the EA folder in documents there? If so you can restore your saves and other stuff in The Sims 4 folder there to your corresponding folder on your SSD.

    If you need more help please refrain from speculation but tell exactly what you see.
