Same issue. Multiple people are reporting this, so yes- it most likely is an error on their end.

Yep! happening here too. So frustrating. I thought it was an issue with my PC also, did a few things for it to just say the same thing.
Hopefully it can get fixed soon.

Just seen this posted, i tried and it worked.
Worth a shot. Goodluck.
Please try playing in a clean user folder. Move the entire Sims 4 folder out of Documents > Electronic Arts and onto your desktop. When you launch the game, if it launches, a clean folder will spawn with no content. (Your saves and other content will be intact in the folder you've moved but temporarily unread by the game.) Don't add anything to the new folder yet; just start a new save and see how it runs.If you still can't play, please provide a dxdiag. Click Windows key-R, enter dxdiag in the run box, wait for the scan to finish, click "Save all information," and save the file to your desktop. From there, you can attach it to a reply using the paper clip (Attachment) icon included with the other formatting buttons.

When you tried this did you end up sending a dxdiag box? And I presume your game opened without your saves, but were you able to play with your saves afterwards?

Getting the same issues, cleared app cache, ran as admin, repaired files thru EA app

EA changed the title of this? It wasn't "PSA: Check your mods!" before...

I did not. Is that why my saves are gone?
