EA merged/deleted my account/missing the games from origin...here is my rant!

Created two accounts(unknowingly), one for EA and the other with origin because when forced to merge it told me to create a new one just for EA and afterward, the app had no problems showing any of my games or downloaded content from origin. Suddenly, my origin account would not show up on my EA app, and I contacted EA help through live chat. Through origin, I only had Need for Speed, Sims Midevil, City Skylines, and The sims 4 with all packs except for 3 of them and no kits. Nothing but the newly purchased packs that I bought through EA are showing, which are: The Sims 4 base game along with Wedding Stories and Dream Home Decorator.

Where are my origin downloads?

Before the merge of my origin to the EA account took place, I asked specifically about my data and was reassured by Tanya the EA representative that my data will be accessible after the transfer. Well Tanya, you were wrong because, after 4 hours of 5 rounds of live chats with different reps(all had absolutely no solution), my EA app is still useless. Don't worry....the answer I received was 

EA REP: "Our team is working very hard to resolve this issue as you are not the only one, just wait for an update." (People have had this issue for over a month now)

EA REP: "We see the games have transferred."

ME: "I don't see anything, so how does that help me?"

EA REP: "Just wait for an update."

ME: "When is the update?"

EA REP: "I can't tell you when but it will be soon"

ME: "Months?" (because we all know it takes months for them to release an update...then they probably will release a new pack at the same time!)

EA REP: "No, Soon"

So the answer to your problem is to "Check for updates on our EA website or Twitter"

I just want a refund of the packs I bought three hours before any of this and to no avail, they refused to issue me that....I feel like a hostage to the company because I am too financially invested to walk away but I swear I am done with feeding this bottomless pit more money.

  • RIP to all my hair and cute outfits for my sims just up in the cloud of EA servers right now...I would rather take my chances with feeding a cow-plant than talking with another representative. 

  • @newmonkii22  Please try again with EA customer support, or try EA Help on Twitter or Facebook.  If you don't get anywhere this time around either, let me know, and I'll flag your post.  But it might take a couple days to get a response given that it's the weekend and the forums are quite busy right now.
