EA sims 4 dlc not showing up on steam

Hi! My friends got me the sims 4 get to work pack, for my birthday a while ago. The only issue is that all my other sims 4 packs are on the EA app. I have linked the accounts, but when i launch the game from steam only the get to work pack opens. All my other packs from EA are gone. The accounts are linked, and if i go to "manage my dlc" on EA all the packs show up. On steam i just have the dlc my friends got me there. If i try to go back to the EA app to launch the Sims 4 again, it launches the steam version. I then have to delete and re-download the game to play with the other DLC. This is super frustrating, i tried to open a case through EA support but i never got an answer, and the website crashes when i try to renew my case. Steam cant help, and i can issue a refund either. So i am stuck and i dont know what to do. Has anyone else got this problem? Is there a way to play with both the EA dlc, and Steam DLC? It said so when we googled before the purchase, and i am just so lost on what to do about this.
