EA uninstalled base game and select packs
I recently bought the fairies pack for Sims 4 a few days ago and hadn't tried opening my game until now.I noticed EA had labeled my base game as uninstalled.
I have tried the following:
- Restarting my computer
- Restarting my game
- Uninstalling the EA app
- Clearing the EA app cache
- Reinstalling the SIms 4 on my local disk drive and when that didn't work I reinstalled it on my extra hard drive
- Repairing the base game and packs within the EA app
On both of my drives I am able to access my save data which is great. However when I go to play my save file it says almost all my packs are not installed and a restart is required. I restarted my game and it says the same thing again. I then went to one of the "missing" packs store page in the EA app and it says the pack is installed but in the game it is saying it's not. I only have one piece of custom content ( a kitchen counter) and no mods. Please help!
