Electronic arts and mods folder disappeared
I completely restored my laptop and reinstalled the sims 4 and now I dont have the electronic arts folder or mods in my documents at all, i've searched for it on my laptop it's gone, please help!

A restoration takes your computer back to a certain point in time in which it made a "save" of its state. If at that time you didn't have the game installed, it's enitrely possible they have disappeared altogether.
I'm afraid you'll have to download your mods anew. 🙂
I have the digital deluxe version would that have anything to do with it ? And should I reinstall the game and origin ?
No, that doesn't help.
As @EA_Francois said, if you restored your computer, the save games are probably gone.
The folder will recreate once you start the game for the first time but that doesn't make your stuff reappear.
Unless you have a backup somewhere, starting over and redownloading is what you need to do.

As @crinrict said, all mods are saved locally and not uploaded to our servers (like saves in some of our other games, for instance), so yours was really the only copy. 🙂
