Elementals don't appear

I'm not sure if my problem is related to this:

When I tell my Sim to "commune with the elementals" nothing happens, no elementals show up. The box in the upper left corner saying that the event is happening is there though. 

I gathered that the "elementals" are some kind of ghosts as well, so maybe that's why they don't appear?

Has anyone else experienced this?

I tried removing my CC, didn't help though.

    Oh nevermind, I just found the cause for my problem: After I deleted the localthumbcache everything worked again. 

    I then went ahead and tried to isolate the CC that was causing this: Ironically, it was LittleMsSams's  "Let Other Sims visit Sulani Fix":

    She is currently fixing the mod, so it's going to be safe again.

    @reikacitro That sounds different. I've seen those show up.

    Could you please createa a new thread ?

    Make sure to test a new save that never saw any mods/cc as well and delete your localthumbcache file.
