Error 0 and after-CAS loading issues

So, I don't know why, but whenever I try to save my game, I get error 0 now, and my recent issue in my game where I have multiple sim households which I don't want to lose I've been trying to change a sim's appearance in CAS with the cas.fulleditmode cheat. Whenever I finish my game continuously loads, the plumbob spins and never stops, so any game data that I changed beforehand gets wiped out, because I have to end the sims 4 in my task manager. I've been looking in the forums for a solution, repairing my game, making a new save folder then adding back two of my old saves to the new folder and I get that save as works, but the issue with cas and the loading screen is really aggravating. I do use mods and cc, but even if the issue was with that I don't know how to pinpoint what the issue would be causing the loading problem or the saving problem. Is there any way to get around these issues without abandoning the save?

And now when I try to play a new household it crashes. I tried to upload the crash report, but for whatever reason it won't load.

I also get this BE a lot now, and by a lot I mean every time I try to exit out of it it pops back up.

@crystalf1ambe1  Does the game work with no mods at all?  I understand you want to use mods, but it's critical to establish whether the problem is present without mods or custom content.

@crystalf1ambe1  Then the problem is one or more of your mods, and you'll need to test them and remove or replace any that don't work.  There's no way around this.  For any mod you really want to use but that creates problems, you can try downloading a fresh copy, in case yours is corrupted or out of date and you didn't notice.  But if that doesn't work either, you'll need to wait for an update.

Since Sims 4 is getting a patch in about 16 hours, I'd suggest holding off until then—you don't want to spend a lot of time on this process only to have to repeat it again tomorrow.  Or you can do it now and play offline without patching for a while, if you prefer.  That would mean not getting the newest expansion right away, since it won't work without the update, but it's a reasonable alternative.

So, it's still acting up with mods, trying to load a new household and the loading never stops. But there was another update yesterday, so I'm going to see what happens to the first game with the new household as well as the new game where the household won't load at all.

So my one accessible game somewhat works. Now for whatever reason some of interactions aren't being completed fully or I have to reset the sims. I'm not sure if this is the new patch issues or mods. I know my game is a bit slower too, so I don't know if that's because of all the packs I have or a patch issue as well. But the fact that I still can't create a new game with a new household is my largest concern...I'm hoping more fixes come in the near future for the game.

Weirdly enough it was doing okay until sometime last night(it was still slow, but the sims were functioning). I'm literally switching between saving and build mode to get my sims to carry out interactions. I'm not sure why the game's acting like this, but it would be great if someone could tell me if this is patch related or that it's because I have to many packs that's causing the slowing down issue, because I'm literally waiting minutes as sim time passes by in seconds for my sims to do the action that I click (one being make a wedding cake). I don't want to spend hours on the game when the sims aren't moving or stalled. Can someone help me?

@crystalf1ambe1  This new patch was significant even putting aside the content of the new expansion, and then there were two emergency patches; a lot has changed since you started the thread.  So I'd like to (briefly) go back to the basics: please move the Sims 4 folder out of Documents > Electronic Arts, load the game to create a new folder, start a new save, and let me know how it runs.  Don't add any content from the Gallery, or your Library, or anywhere else.

If the new save runs fine, copy over your main save, but still nothing else yet, and test that too.

I've seen an increase in reports of sims not doing what they're told, or dropping actions from the queue, but not really of sims waiting a while before following instructions.  Still, that doesn't mean that your particular issue has nothing to do with the patch.

So, right now I'm getting a lot of better exceptions, different ones about the interaction or not being sure what the cause of the issue is and they continuously pop up making the game once again unplayable. I've done the remove the mods thing, removed the old saves to the desktop and when I move everything back it's still having issues.
