error 132:33c440:

Yesterday, I had to reset my computer and reinstall my sims game, including my expansion packs: cats and dogs, city living, my Christmas stuff pack, and my strangerville game pack. Coming back onto the game, on create a sim mode, some of the clothes and accessories colour the sims in red and white and with black question marks all over. some clothes make certain parts of the sims invisible. I can't make cats or dogs. on the first attempt, I just comes up with an exact clone of the previously created sim, and on second attempt it goes onto create dog/catmode but there is no dog or cat to be seen, and you can't select a breed. when I try to load sim households to play in it comes up with the error code 132:33c440:180b24cb. it suggests I relaunch the game. I do so, nothing's changed. I restart the computer. nothing's changed.

@Mad1Don1104 Do you get that same error code or just a similar one ?

The error code is important to know what issue you have

Any mods/cc in your game ?
  • I have the same problem and I don't know what a mod or cc is, so cannot check?! It's so frustrating... the game was fine, the update has stopped the game working and I have uninstalled and reinstalled it. Will try to restore the game to factory settings.

  • This is what has been happening for the past two days with the sims. I have attached images to show, I cannot load my family and I get an error code and told to relaunch the game. I’ve already updated all of my packs and the game itself, I don’t use mods either.

  • @crinrict Now there is an issue with Origin. Everytime I go onto Origin it downloads the game and all the expansion packs, the update is complete but when I go to press play, it tells me downloads are in progress, but nothing is downloading 🤯
