Re: SDX error, white sim portraits, corrupted save, etc.

I have tried to repair the game twice then I Uninstalled and re installed the game to still get the same error code. I get this code EVERY time the sims do an update and HAVE to uninstall the game. I did the same this time but was still unable to play the game; it will pull up the game (before the uninstall all saves were gone) and even now when I try to start a new game it will just crash with that error code at the top when I restart the game. What do I do to Fix it, I have spent way to much on this game for it to just not work all the time

    Yes, that use to be the way I could get it fixed. It would never let me move the files over after, but it would at least be a working up-to-date game. I do not use any custom content or any mods. With the new update, me save is still present but I do not have the UI event, or the option to participate.

    That's so frustrating, especially after spending so much on it! Since you're getting the same error code repeatedly after updates, it might be a deeper issue with your Documents folder or conflicting mods/CC - have you tried completely deleting the Sims 4 folder from Documents (after backing up your saves) and letting the game create a fresh one? Also, what's the actual error code you're seeing - that could help pinpoint whether it's a game file issue or something else!
