Error Code: 124:54d4acd3:1191f86a

The game failed to load. Error Code: 124:54d4acd3:1191f86a It is recommended that you relaunch the game.

I just came back from a vacation to the jungle, to my apartment in san myshuno. No households will load. I already tried removing all mods.

I can't seem to find any posts with the same error code, can anyone help me?

  • Hi @TheRallycore

Would you be willing to share your save with me ?

If so, please zip your saves folder and upload it somewhere like dropbox,, googledrive or OneDrive and PM me the link.

  • Hi @TheRallycore - When you open a game and click on the household to load, try selecting one of the sims pictures that is not grayed out. When you click on the sim, it should bring up a window that says "At Home" under their name. Click the play button to the right of their name and see if you can load the household that way.

**Edit: It appears that Crinrict and I were answering at the same time. It's always good to have choices 🙂

If that doesn't work, I suggest that you reset your game.

Completely exit the game and Origin

          • In your documents folder on your PC, rename "The Sims 4" folder to "The Sims 4 Backup". Move this folder to your desktop (or another spot where you can easily find it)
          • Open Origin. Right-Click The Sims 4 icon & choose "Repair"; wait until the game and all packs have completed the repair. (Origin needs to be online in order to have the option)
          • Start The Sims 4 from Origin
          • Check to make sure that there are no "Load Game" options. The game should start completely new with no previous games in it.
          • Click on the "Play" button and start a new game just to check that it works. Make a random sim and place in a household. You don't have to save this game, just make sure the game works. After checking, you can exit to main menu without saving
          • Exit the game and Origin
          • Now you can start putting your files back. After each of these steps, open the game and check to make sure that the game still works correctly before moving on
            • Copy your save files into the new 'Saves' folder
            • Copy your Options.ini file to the new 'The Sims 4' folder. (or you can just reset your options in the settings menu)
            • Copy the files from screenshots to the new 'Screenshots' folder
            • Copy the files in the Tray folder to the new 'Tray' folder
            • Finally, copy the Mods files from the backup folder to the new Mods folder. This will put back all your mods and cc, if you have any. Copy each file one at a time and then test the game to make sure it runs correctly before you copy the next one. If you have a lot of mods or cc, use the 50% method to narrow down any problems. Check with the content creator for updated copies on anything that breaks your game

  • I have this same problem. I can get onto the sims map but when loading a household it sends me back to the world page and an error code pops up.
