ESC button suddenly does not work

After the last patch I noticed that sometimes the ESC button suddenly stops working, both in simulation and buy/build mode. Exiting the game and entering again solves the problem. I remember having the same problem a few yeas ago, but I think it was solved with some update and it never bothered me again until now.

    @jupkmn This just started for me after the August 3rd 2023 update. First time I've seen it, but in build mode, the ESC key doesn't work. I even changed out my keyboard from a wireless one to a wired USB one, and nope, it's the game.
