Export and import sim

I have a sim that for that is a vampire but for some reason the game decided as far as baths are concerned she's a mermaid.  It will not lot her use soaks or mudbath and twists her legs like a tail when she takes a normal bath.  I have not been able to correct this even gave her the mermaid traits and removed them.  So the only option I see is to go back a few saves to where she was ok export her and import her.  There have been several children born and about to age to young adult between the saves so don't want to just continue the save before she got corrupted.
