Failed To Compute Cost?

So this literally just happened. I was in game scoping out this Lot that I was thinking of moving my sims to. I placed down a old version of their house from last month that I had saved to my gallery. I created this house from complete scratch and only placed it down to get an idea of how the house will possibly look on this lot and what to do with it, etc... I go to delete the house via bulldoze option and the game bulldozes all the contents within the house and only the shell of the house remained. So I tried deleting the wall manually, it said invalid facet. I tried deleting the room, it says room not found. It's highly frustrating. I need help removing this lot. It also has a basement. Tried moving that room to the top floor and again, room not found. Couldn't move it. Tried to bulldoze the lot again and it said Failed To Compute Cost. Ok, so I just tried a few things and so far I was able to delete some parts of the wall by placing the already made wall square down and overlapping the existing walls. However, some of the walls still remain so I still have to figure that out. Also, the house still has its roof. I went to delete it and I got this message: OP Generation Failed.

I really need help with this, please.

  • No, it crashed instead after trying to delete the walls. It did the same thing with another house I placed down and then bulldozed. I found that placing another lot down from the gallery got rid of the issue of having to find a way to delete the house if it became stuck with just the shell of the house intact. I don't know if it's a for sure method but it works for now. Thank you.

  • Did you save the game ? Otherwise, just close it and try again (do close down your game completely not just to the main menu)
