I only had one save game and no backups at all and I really don't feel like testing starting a new game or anything right now. I'm too bummed out about this and, besides, now I have time to do all the things I ignored because I was too busy playing the Sims for the past week or so. 😕mileylol: I'll probably test it out later.

Questions about your save game
- Have you been switching families or played one ? I only played one.
- Do you remember what careers/aspiration the Sims in your household were in ? One had the soul mate aspiration and was in business, one was in the tech guru career and the corresponding aspiration (I don't play in English and don't know the actual used terms for them). I also had one in writing and one had the friend of the world aspiration and was in writing as well but I changed it to comedy just recently.
- Are there children/teens in your family ? Just two babies.
- If you started a new game and had this issue, did you put in an older Sims family or completly start over from scratch ? I didn't start a new one just yet.
- Anything else you think important (no rants please) ? This happened right after I updated to Windows 8.1. Could be a coincidence though.
It would be nice to get some info on if this problem is actually worked on and when we can expect a solution for it, because if this doesn't get fixed, I will want my money back because this is just not right... It worries me that this thread was started on the 20th and it is now the 30th and there's still not much information.
Oh well, I'll just be patient and wait. Thank god for this forum, I panicked when I couldn't find anything on this at first, but now I feel a lot better as I know others are experiencing this too and it supposedly is being worked on.
