[FIXED] [PATCH 1.24.102] Map Reloading

I'm merging all map reloading issues in here. Please, remove your mods before starting your game. If you have this issue, please do not save your game but exit without saving. Not to the main ...

Thank God for this thread. I've been trying everything from the old threads for the last couple of days. Glad to see it was possibly triggered by the patch, at least I'm not alone.

A few things I've noticed, don't know if they help.

- To me, it only happens when trying to travel to community lots. I can play my families and travel to each other houses just fine. Active careers lot also work normally.

- Going straight to build mode on community lots also work. It only fails when travelling there with sims (from either their homes or directly from the map), which kicks me back to map selection screen.

- If I select the faulty community lot after it fails to load, it says it's incompleted even though it isn't.

- It happened first when I tried to travel to Magnolia Blossom, where there are a few easels with incomplete paintings. Deleting them didn't fix the problem and the error occurs with every community lot, even the ones without easels at all.

- One of my sims vanished from my game and I doubt it's culling related since she was home with her husband and he's still there. I can't find her anywhere and she's not on her relatives, friends and club panels, although she still appears as alive on family tree. The loading problem first appeared when I was playing with her son's family,. I don't know when she vanished.

That sounds like an older issue that's been around for some. I had this once but going to lot with incomplete in build mode fixed the issue.

That sounds like an older issue that's been around for some. I had this once but going to lot with incomplete in build mode fixed the issue.

Also - I just tried to access build mode once the lot is marked with incomplete, but that also brought me to map selection. I can only load it before I try to travel. Once I fail, it becomes inaccessible.

@crinrict Actually, don't waste your time on me just yet. I read that Command Center's new version was broken, they just released a hotfix to adress this issue. Apparently, my problem was caused because I changed the limit of sims per community lot, I will check if that was the cause. Hopefully my save is not permanently damadged. I tried the game without all mods except MC because that was up to date, thinking it wouldn't be it. Bad me.

UPDATE: That was it, Command Center 3.0 was the issue. It loads properly now, thank God! Hopefully, that will be useful to someone out there. There is a new version, 3.01, fixing the problem. And sorry Crinrict for the trouble.

  Thanks guess I gotta go update mccommander again I was worried after setting up my entire world again especially newcrest that it broke again 😭

  @crinrict I did load MC Command Centre 3.0.1 earlier today but it's not working for me. Downloaded later tonight and it's working. so never mind.

  There is also a save called CAROLINA VOLTOU or something. That's the name of my missing sim, I recovered her from an old save, transfered to the gallery and restored her relationships with her family via Command Center to see if that fixed the issue with travelling.

  Yeah, reports in here should be on vanilla games.

    There's an issue caused by the game that can't be solved with MCCC as far as I'm aware. If it's occurring on a vanilla game, then you might have that.
    
    Again: Please remove your mods, if you still get map reloading then you will need to exit the game and start a new one for the time being. You do not have to delete your old one. Just keep it safe until EA/Maxis can fix their issue.
    
    Map Reloading is not tied to a specific error. It's a way of the game to go back to a safe place, if it runs into a critical error (which can be many things).
