Flickering screen with a blue glow

When I start Sims 4 the screen almost immediately starts flickering and glitching, with small black squares flickering on my screen. After a while, my screen even turns blue. I have already tried disabling the Origin in-game option and that didn't work. I can't 'repair' my game, because it won't acknowledge that my game needs repairing in the first place. I ran diagnostics and attached it to this post. Does anyone know how to fix this? The flickering is too distracting to play the game at the moment ☹️

    You are infected by a malware called Scanguard. You can use Malwarebytes instructions on how to remove it.

    To your issue. Your graphics are below minimum requirements for the Sims 4. This is likely why you see the flickering.

    That seems to be okay, did the game run fine before? Do you use CC/mods? Could you try without? Also try playing around with your settings.

    I didn't use any mods! I played around with the graphics: it works fine if I play in windowed mode, but when I put it on full screen again it starts flickering again immediately... At least now I can play again but it's not ideal because in windowed mode the panel thing at the bottom becomes very small so I can hardly read the time and the sims' needs etc. Also I couldn't solve the problem, just work around it...

  • Please, if you didn't already, update your video card drivers (directly from the manufacturer website,}
    Otherwise, lower your graphics settings, try the "full-screen windowed mode" instead of the regular full screen, or even regular windowed mode.

    Have you tried reinstalling your game?

    Hope this helps, I am not an EA employee I am just trying to help. So if it did help please grant XP points ty.

    I just looked at it again, I see your graphics card is low in dedicated memory, the minimum to play the game is 128 MB, you have 112MB.

    You could try closing some things before playing.

    If you want to see if you can actually run the game, try this:

    @aroodhof  You don't have a data drive and system 128Gb M.2 ssd is not big enough for the Windows operating system. Widows needs free space for the creation of temp files for house keeping and other functions. This computer configuration requires continual attention and is not for the casual user. The TS3 game creates large temp files as you play. The video issue may be caused by exceeding the 3D graphics of the video chip. Intel HD graphics has been known to have issues with TS3.  The clock rate of the cpu is low and that means the clock rate is shared with the integrated video chip which is weak to begin with.
