folders: EA Games or Electronic Arts?
Hello!
My computer was formatted, and when I got it back, I redownloaded the EA App so I could download The Sims 4.
However, I was unable to restore my old saves because I simply could not locate the folders in the new folders that appeared. Before there was just the "Electronic Arts" folder, now there is this folder, which now houses a folder called "EA Desktop" and the new folder, "EA Games", which is inside The Sims 4 folder, but in a completely different configuration from before.
In addition to not being able to locate the save folder to put my old games, I also don't know where to put the Mods and custom content folder. Can someone help me?
@vixxoluxion The EA Games folder in your first screenshot contains Sims 4's program files, which is a separate set of data that has nothing to do with your user files. The Electronic Arts folder contains the EA App's program files.
Please launch the game once, then look for the user folder in Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4. If you can't find it, you're probably looking in the wrong Documents folder. Here's how to find the correct one:
