I am using a Windows PC, I have two screenshots of my system info attached. I have both windows firewall and malwarebytes but I have origin, origin games, and TheSims4_32.exe and TheSims4_64.exe labeled as exceptions. My firewall is off and I clicked 'connect' and left it on all night, it never timed out and when I opened up my laptop this morning it was still loading.

@JellyBabiex RedX are usually an issue that the gallery can't download images to your user folder - either cause the game can't connect to the gallery at all or if something is blocking the user folder.
Does malwarebytes have some kind of ransomware protection ?
As for the llamas, that's usually a corrupt installation or save. Do you have it on all your save games ?

Thank you that's good information to know. As far as I understand what I've read, malwarebytes only offers ransomware protection for premium users, and I am using the free edition.
I don't have the llama issue on my other save-games, no. Is there anything that can be done to salvage the save-game where this is occurring? I've put like...a lot of time into this save.- crinrict5 years agoHero+@JellyBabiex Can you access the household manager and your households ? If so, you might be able to save all the sims in the gallery as well as the houses and place them in a new save. You'll loose relationships and inventory that way though.
You can also send me your save if you want and I can check if it behaves the same way for me. Instructions in my signature.
