This just started happening, it won't let me connect to the internet at all on my game. Before anyone asks, yes I already contacted support for my anti virus, yes I already made the sims 4 an exception, yes I already cleared EA App's cache, yes I did a fresh install of the game & I'm still met with the same issue. The game opens completely fine but once I'm in it won't connect to the gallery, the delivery express won't download. The game's main page also looks completely different compared to how it's been.

@beachfossels Does your save look normal? Did you set exceptions in your antivirus for EADesktop.exe and TS4_DX9_x64.exe, rather than only TS4_x64.exe? The DirectX 9 version of Sims 4, which you're running, uses TS4_DX9_x64 now; the other .exe is for the DX11 version.
If that doesn't help, can you test with your computer connected to a different network? For example, you could set your phone as a mobile hotspot, using data rather than your home wifi. Simply starting the game shouldn't use much data, and it would be a helpful experiment.
@firequeen76 Try loading the game with the EA App in offline mode and your computer not connected to the internet, then disable Sims Delivery Express updates altogether. I believe the setting is under Options > Game Options > Other. Then go back online and see whether the Gallery works. There shouldn't be any SDX content right now anyway.
- firequeen762 years agoRising Vanguard@puzzlezaddict Again I appreciate your help. This didn't work. Under options- game options-other there is no option to turn off Sims delivery. Under Sims Delivery you can tell it to not automatically download and to stop checking for new content. I did that in offline mode not connected to the internet. Then went back online and checked. And it still doesn't work. Everything else is fine. It just won't connect to the gallery. Very weird. Thanks again.

@firequeen76 Does the Gallery work if you use a different network? For example, if your computer has wifi, you could set your phone as a mobile hotspot, with the phone using data rather than your home wifi. Simply signing into the EA App and trying to connect to the Gallery, without downloading anything, shouldn't use much data, and it would be a helpful test.
Please also let me know whether you're still getting the SDX error after setting the content to not install automatically. Hopefully not, but it would be best to have clarification.
- beachfossels2 years agoNew Scout@puzzlezaddict yea when I rechecked the lady from support only made the launcher an exception but not the document files so it works now

Yes it's frustrating isn't it? Sorry you are having the same issue. Hopefully we can get it fixed. I myself have been trying to solve it also.
