@beachfossels Does your save look normal? Did you set exceptions in your antivirus for EADesktop.exe and TS4_DX9_x64.exe, rather than only TS4_x64.exe? The DirectX 9 version of Sims 4, which you're running, uses TS4_DX9_x64 now; the other .exe is for the DX11 version.
If that doesn't help, can you test with your computer connected to a different network? For example, you could set your phone as a mobile hotspot, using data rather than your home wifi. Simply starting the game shouldn't use much data, and it would be a helpful experiment.
@firequeen76 Try loading the game with the EA App in offline mode and your computer not connected to the internet, then disable Sims Delivery Express updates altogether. I believe the setting is under Options > Game Options > Other. Then go back online and see whether the Gallery works. There shouldn't be any SDX content right now anyway.

@firequeen76 Does the Gallery work if you use a different network? For example, if your computer has wifi, you could set your phone as a mobile hotspot, with the phone using data rather than your home wifi. Simply signing into the EA App and trying to connect to the Gallery, without downloading anything, shouldn't use much data, and it would be a helpful test.
Please also let me know whether you're still getting the SDX error after setting the content to not install automatically. Hopefully not, but it would be best to have clarification.

I no longer get the error message unless I check for new content. But it has stopped since I told it not to check and not automatically download. I will try and set up my phone as a hotspot and see it that works. Thank you for your help.
