Today I did buy For Rent expansion and had to repair the game. After repairing language switched from english to czech and I have no way of changing it since only options that show up for me are Polish, Czech and Russian. I did play Sims 4 in english for more than 2000 hours and I can't imagine using any other language. I'm now unable to play at all since english is not available option
oomphm Did you buy For Rent directly from EA, or from a third party? And where are you currently located? I'm wondering if you received a product key originally from a region that gets the language-locked version of Sims 4.
i did buy it from 3rd party and it was global version, currently I'm in Poland
oomphm It sounds like the language-locked version was applied to your account, but I can't tell you for sure whether it was because you're currently in Poland or because the "global" version you bought was not in fact global. Either way, you can try contacting EA customer support to ask that the language-locked version of the base game be removed from your account, since you also have the global version there somewhere and should still be able to use it.
I would strongly recommend using live chat rather than email. Choosing Sims 4 > [all topics] > I need help loading my game allows chat to show for me. If it doesn't for you, try changing the location at the bottom of the page to U.S. or U.K.
