Why can't I travel to San Myushuno?
Anytime I try to travel, build or move a sim into San Myushuno it freezes and crashes. I have tried new save files, I have removed all mods, all cc, no change. It still crashes. I even uninstalled and reinstalled the game and none of these options work. What's the deal and why is this issue still happening 7 years after it was first reported?
game freezes indefinitely
I've played ts4 on my MacBook Air for a month now after reinstalling it. I never had any problems playing it with mods or cc. Yesterday i bought myself the lovestruck ep and after opening my save file the screen froze and didn't move again, and it did so everytime after i force quit the game and ran it again. I tried deleting all my mods (but leaving the cas cc) and it still did it. Then i removed all the cc i downloaded before running the game with lovestruck but it still continued to do it. I also repaired the game on the EA app and deleted the cache, I even deleted my save file and made a new one because i thought it might've been a corrupted, but it still kept doing it in a new save?packs i already own needing to be "installed"
I've been having this problem for over a month, and I cannot for the life of me figure out what to do. Whenever I hit the load button for my saves or try to load any other saves it says I need all the packs I already own to play. Obviously, I've bought these packs since I need them in order to resume my files. This issue has happened before but usually fixes itself when I reset EA or restart my PC. I've repaired the game, reset my PC, turned off cc, reset EA, even tried playing through steam and nothing works. I miss my legacy family please help!
Last exception with no mods
I have no mods in my game currently and receiving a last exception. I do play with mods but I took them out to test as the game hasn't been loading past the play option. Removed my mod folder and immediately received a last exception that is attached. It just continues to load. Will not load the game at all. Attached is the last exception. Please help.
Missing Lots, Error Code 800
I've reached the point where I just can't play this game anymore, and honestly, it's pretty heartbreaking considering the time and money I’ve spent on this game . There’s something fundamentally wrong with it; it just doesn't work properly. I’ve gone through the process of starting about six different new games, expecting things to be different each time, but unfortunately, I keep running into the same issues. Every new game eventually becomes unplayable and begins in Willow Creek, and while the lot appears to be there initially, as soon as I try to visit it, it turns into an empty lot — no buildings, no sims, just an empty lot. The other lots, meanwhile, give me an 800 error code, which prevents me from visiting them altogether. It’s the same frustrating problem every single time, no matter what I do. I even try creating a new game, but the issue persists. Why is this happening? It’s especially confusing because, although the exclamation points indicating problems no longer show up, the underlying issues remain unresolved. I’ve gone to great lengths to troubleshoot: I started a complete fresh install of the game, deleted all my mods and custom content, removed households, and tried everything I could think of. Despite all that, just when things break a new expansion pack launches, and instead of fixing anything, I’m greeted with Hey, buy this new expansion so your game can break again. The expansion looks visually stunning, but honestly, that’s just superficial because the core game itself is simply not functional. It’s incredibly disappointing because I really wanted to enjoy this game, but at this point, it is completely broken and unplayable.Expansion pack not working
So basically I recently got the seasons expansion pack and the actual seasons and events work and stuff but the build mode items and cas items from the pack don't really work. For example, the build mode are like either have a red x on them and can not be placed or a rainbow ish color that I can place and works for example the Christmas tree my sim can put decorations on it. But i can not change the color so it's always that rainbow ish color. For the cas items are broken and the image to select it, most of it is invisible or has that red and white checkered pattern with a question mark on it and when I put it on, it either has has that red and white checkered pattern with a question mark on it or the part of the body is missing and a black square is on the mouth and around it and a question mark on the forehead. Does anyone know the solution, because I would like to able to play freely. Fyo I have mods and cc if that helps.Duplicate worlds showing in "manage worlds" for packs i don't own
Hi everyone, I have a weird issue in The Sims 4. in Manage Worlds, I see two copies of the Jungle Adventure world and Outdoor Retreat world — but I don’t actually own these packs. One version of the world is completely empty (nothing in it). The other version asks me to buy the pack. I checked in the EA App: I don’t have these packs downloaded or partially installed. I already tried: ✅ Repairing the game ✅ Deleting the localthumbcache and cache folders ✅ Checking for any paused downloads ✅ Running the game without mods But I still see two copies of each world. is this a known bug? Will it cause any problems in my game? Thanks a lot for any advice!
