Game Crashes since buying Business expansion

Since purchasing the sims business expansion my game keeps crashing once i open it. I have spoken with EA support who firstly offered me a refund but told me to wait 72hours, then now wont offer a refund but instead sent me two articles which I have followed both and tried all their fixes.  (Reinstalling, Bio's changes, clearing cache, no mods installed etc)

Anyone else having this issue? I can't play the game anymore.
