@dukaslove Can you start a new save? Please let me know either way.
So I tried that, this is what EA community posted on their page so I did this and it messed my game up even more. I went back in to go press "resume" and my sim was bald, whereas before I did the suggested save thing, he wasn't bald.

@dukaslove That suggestion is a bit more invasive than mine, but it's not a bad troubleshooting step overall. However, the description is a bit off: moving the Sims 4 folder to the desktop is about testing with none of your existing content, not testing only for corrupt saves.
Still, the important question here is whether you could load the save in the new Sims 4 folder, with a bald sim if that's what you're seeing.

I cant and even when he was bald it still did not allow me to play. I just tried now and its the same thing. I wish there was a way to show you. I'm not necessarily great at pc stuff and usually my dad fixes this, and he is unsure as well. I can try to do what you both suggested about the save but I am afraid ill mess things up even more.

@dukaslove You can attach a screenshot to a reply here if you want. Put the game into windowed mode and use Windows key-shift-S to capture that portion of the screen, and you'll see a notification in the lower-right corner. You can click on that to view the image and save it. Then you can attach it to a post by clicking Browse, below the text field and above the Submit button.
Please let me know whether you can start a new save as well, and if not, what happens when you try.

Your bald sim after the update was because all mods and other custom content are disabled after most patches. You have to go to Gameplay Options to reenable mods. If you saved while your custom content was still disabled, your sim will stay bald from here on out.
