same here, ive tried everything already. i thought at first that its one of my mods, but even after getting rid of them, with a fresh reinstalled game, a completely new save file and no dlcs it STILL crashes. my pc is quite good, so after trying for a few days to make it work im losing hope lol

  • hey_moon87 annaa2310t  If you haven't already, please try playing in a clean user folder.  Move the entire Sims 4 folder out of Documents > Electronic Arts and onto your desktop.  When you launch the game, a clean folder will spawn with no content.  (Your saves and other content will be intact in the folder you've moved but temporarily unread by the game.)  Don't add anything to the new folder yet; just start a new save and see how it runs.  Use fresh sims and a blank or EA-made lot, nothing from the Gallery.

If you get another crash, please provide a dxdiag.  Click Windows key-R, enter dxdiag in the run box, wait for the scan to finish, click "Save all information," and save the file to your desktop.  From there, you can attach it to a reply using the paper clip (Attachment) icon included with the other formatting buttons.

RulyMicroby hey_moon87 i went through some other threads and my dxdiag file and i finally made it work, so hopefully it can be a bit of a help for someone too. the very first thing i did was disabling turbo boost in bios (which already stopped ts4 from crashing). then later on i updated my bios cause i was trying to figure out if theres another way to make it work while also being able to keep turbo boost enabled, so after a bios update i re-enabled turbo boost setting and it didnt crash anymore either! if anyone tries either of those just make sure to do it properly with some good tutorial or research beforehand if you have never done it before, better safe than sorry

  • Same ! I noticed it crashed much more in Brichester gameplay
