game crashing, no mods/cc, fresh '/Documents/The Sims 4' folder

my game has been crashing since i installed enchanted by nature, but its gotten really bad after this latest update.

i waited a day and saw the update was cleared as safe for most of the mods that i used, so i removed/updated those that were not compatible. after a lot of 50/50ing, taking out mods, deleting localthumbcache over and over, and repairing the game over and over, i finally decided to just test on a fresh folder and it still crashed.
