Game crashing while loading save file

@M3WPHISTO Moving the Sims 4 user folder to the desktop forces the game to create a new folder with no content, so the save wouldn't be present. But you can copy the save file, just the file itself, from the old folder to the new one, and it should show up. Please try this and see whether the save loads.
If it does, great, you can transfer the contents of the Mods (minus resource.cfg) and Tray folders from the old Sims 4 folder to the new one as well. Be sure to test again though, in case the save doesn't load again. In that case, the culprit would likely be an outdated mod, and you'd need to sort through them to figure out which one.
If the save doesn't load in the new Sims 4 folder, try recovering a backup. Use the manual method here:
