Game exits instead of saving

Question

When I pause the game and click save to save progress in case of crashes. The game will just exit itself back to the EA app. I am currently on an old save from 2021 of which I have multiple households. However it only keeps happening to one household that is in San Myshuno.

I do not use any mods or CC, just the base game and a few add ons. Any help to stop this happening please?

(Also don't know if this is related or not but my game is running very high, my laptop is getting quite hot and fans are working hard since the update before the burglar update one.)

LeanneS13&nbsp; Please test the sims and their house separately.&nbsp; Move the sims to another lot, preferably a default EA-made lot in a different neighborhood, and try to save.&nbsp; If that works, create some new sims and move them into the old lot; you can use the freerealestate cheat if necessary.
If you use "save as" instead of "save," you won't overwrite your original save and can go back to it later.&nbsp; The point is to isolate the problem and proceed from there.
