Game files missing
Hello. I've been trying to play the Sims again. I do not have any room on my internal hard drive so I'm trying to download the game on my external hard drive. I have mods and stuff. But the mods folder only shows up when I download the game on my internal hard drive. This is what the files look like when I download the game onto my external hard drive. I also got the path right here. I did it just fine many times before on other hard drives. I don't know why this one won't work. I have no clue what I'm doing wrong. The sims folder will also be missing other files too such as tray and saves and such. I have no idea what's wrong. It's irritating and would like some help with this. I have no room for anything on my internal hard drive and I don't want to spend money on another hard drive as I said before, I downloaded the sims all the time on an old hard drive of mine.

@iheartanimaljam8 There are always going to be two separate Sims 4 folders. The one you've placed on D contains the game's program files, as in, what the EA App installs. It looks fine from your screenshot. There's no reason to mess with this folder, so please leave it alone.
The other folder is the user folder, which contains saves, mods, and other user content. This is always in Documents > Electronic Arts no matter where you've installed the game. It's also not created until you load Sims 4 for the first time, so please make sure you've done that.
If you want this folder to be on D as well, here's how to move it:
Please create a separate folder on D where the user folder will go, as in, don't use D:\Program Files. You can call it whatever you want.
If you get an error when following the guide linked above, please post a screenshot of the Command Prompt window, with the command showing, so I can take a look.
