Game Force Quits After Trying to Exit CAS

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:PC
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.108.349.1020 DX11
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All of them
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? N/A
What happens when the bug occurs? I enter CAS, try to save or exit to return to game and the game force quits
What do you expect to see? My game should still run after exiting CAS
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Yes
Please describe the patch or change you made. After the patch following the release of the Lovestruck pack

@officialdianna There should be newer drivers. Could you try this link: https://www.dell.com/support/home/en-us/product-support/product/precision-15-3570-laptop/drivers

Also, could you test if it works if you start the game in DX9 mode ?

Moving this to PC tech for further help.

@officialdianna Then you need to check your mods/cc to see if you have anything incompatible.

@crinrict After a long while of searching through folder after folder and the 50/50 method and testing the game repeatedly, I genuinely cannot understand or find what it is that's causing this problem. Script mods or no script mods, CC or no CC, the game still closes after CAS. Is my game unfixable?

@officialdianna The only way currently for it to run 100% normal is for there to be absolutely no mods at all.

@officialdianna Please remove ReShade or GShade, if you've installed either one, and repair the game (again).

If that doesn't help, right-click the desktop, select the Nvidia Control Panel, then Manage 3D Settings > Global settings, and choose the high-performance Nvidia processor. Try again to play. If you get another crash, choose the integrated graphics chip instead and test again. Let me know what happens. Using only the iGPU isn't necessarily a fix, but the result of this test is helpful information.
