@kabelzsofi Please cancel the download and clear the app's cache again, then restart your computer. Create a new folder directly on the drive where you want Sims 4 installed, for example C:\Games. (This needs to be a completely new folder; don't reuse an existing one.) Try installing Sims 4 into that folder.
Before launching the game, please change these settings in Avast:

@kabelzsofi Please do these, in order, before trying to play:
- Clear the EA App's cache (again)
- Use the App Recovery function (again)
- Change the Avast settings as described in the guide I linked
- Restart your computer
If you still can't play, I really do need to see a dxdiag, so please attach one to a reply here. I posted instructions before, but here they are again:

@kabelzsofi There may be a lot of overlap in the functions, but it's worth doing both just to be thorough. Plus, I always want to manually delete files if possible.
Please let me know how it goes.

@kabelzsofi Alright, please let me know whether you can still run Origin. (Some players were forced to switch to the EA App.) In case you've uninstalled it, you can download the installer from here:
Please also let me know whether you've yet tried installing the game to a new folder on your computer, as I'd mentioned before. I wasn't clear on whether you installed to the same location or not. If Sims 4 is in the same folder as before, you can try moving it with the Origin Move Game function. It's in the same location as Repair. There's no way to do this in the EA App though; you'd need to uninstall and reinstall to the new folder.
