game freezes and won't close

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:PC
Which language are you playing the game in? Polski
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? the newest
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? just check
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? should we really do everything for you at this point? I don't have a clue
What happens when the bug occurs? My game won't close after clicking on save&close as I always have done. The game just freezes and it started after the latest updates. I need to restart my computer or log out / start to log out from windows for the game to be properly closed. It's riddiculous.
What do you expect to see? closed game
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Never used.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Yes
Please describe the patch or change you made. the latest ones

  • @8navras8  As a test, please try playing in a clean user folder.  Move the entire Sims 4 folder out of Documents > Electronic Arts and onto your desktop; if it copies instead of moving, or you get an error when trying to move it, stop here and let me know.

    Otherwise, when you launch the game, a clean folder will spawn with no content.  (Your saves and other content will be intact in the folder you moved but temporarily not read by the game.)  Don't add anything to the new folder yet; just start a new save, let the game clock run for a bit, and see whether you can reproduce the error.

    If that doesn't help, please run a dxdiag and attach it to a post.

    @AbbyAaron27  Does your computer run Windows or macOS?  If Windows, please do the above as well.  If you have a Mac, please test without mods, and if the problem is still present, post in the Mac tech forum:
