Game freezes/crashes when loading into lots in Chestnut Ridge

have you already tried a fresh folder by renaming your user folder and starting a fresh save that way ?

    when you say user folder, does that mean the entire Sims 4 folder in My Documents > Electronic Arts? I'll give it a try as soon as I can and let you know how it goes.
