serendipitysoph The new folder means a new Options.ini file, which is where settings are stored. You can change the settings back to what you want now. But just in case, please first open Config.log, in the same (new) Sims 4 folder, scroll down about 30 lines, to Graphics device info, and confirm that the game is using your GPU. It doesn't matter whether it's Found, just listed correctly.
If you do NOT see your GPU, please post what you do see instead, and also provide a dxdiag. Click Windows key-R, enter dxdiag in the run box, wait for the scan to finish, click "Save all information," and save the file to your desktop. From there, you can attach it to a reply using the paper clip (Attachment) icon included with the other formatting buttons.
