Game is saving and then won't load

Hello, 

I have recently redownloaded the Sims 4 and spent many hours creating a family and a house, I saved as and then went to the home page and exited the game. When I retested to play the game the following morning my saved game was not on the load screen and the main menu only would let me create a new family. As I couldn't find how to return my saved game I created a new family and house which I spent serval hours on! Again I saved this and saved throughout my game play to ensue the same issue wouldn't happen. I then saved again and went to the main screen and saw were was a load game option so exited the game. However I have now just attempted to play the game again and the same issue has occurred I have looked don some other forums about moving the electronic arts folder into my saved files which I have done but this hasn't worked. I have now had this issue occur twice and as such I do not want to play the game as I'm getting so annoyed!!
