I can play fine for about 5 minutes then it repeatedly freezes. It freezes in build mode, main menu, CAS and live mode. If I just leave the game open without selecting anything it still freezes. It hasn't froze in a loading screen, but maybe that is a coincidence. The game worked fine before delivery express.
@ariegirl15 Try playing while your computer is completely offline. You can sign into Origin and put it in offline mode, then disable wifi and/or unplug the ethernet cable before pressing Play.
If that doesn't help, try playing in a new admin Windows account. Make it a local account, as in, don't sign into Microsoft, and don't sync with any other services you normally use. You can sign into your existing Origin account and won't need to redownload Sims 4, but your user content won't be available for the moment. That can be addressed later; the point for now is to see whether the game freezes.

Unfortunately that didn't work either. I may have to wait for another update and hope it will fix it. Thank you so much for trying to help me, I really appreciate it.

@ariegirl15 if you're still willing to troubleshoot, try playing in a clean boot, again while your computer is offline.

When you've rebooted, go through the Task Manager's background processes list shutting down anything that doesn't absolutely need to be running. It's fine to guess: if you happen to disable something critical, just reboot your computer, and the process should restart too.
