NeonChick1 Some of the crashes in your dxdiag are from the EA App, and that could crash the game as well. So please do a clean uninstall of the App, not Sims 4, with Revo Uninstaller (the free version is fine). Restart your computer before trying to play.
The dxdiag also lists two crashes of the graphics driver, so it's a good idea to do a clean uninstall and reinstall of the driver as well. Here's how:

Given the age of your computer, I would also physically inspect it to confirm there isn't too much dust inside and the fans can all spin freely. And if the above doesn't help, try playing with the case completely open, and watch the fans move—make sure they're spinning and not catching on anything.
